Horizon Support Services, In. focuses on providing quality residential services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in single-family homes or apartments in communities of their choice. All homes are fully accessible. We strive to work closely with participants and their families to enable them improve their lives and reach their full potential. Our dedicated and well trained staff assist with activities of daily living, meal preparation, medication administration, doctor’s appointments, socialization and transportation. Self- advocacy, self-care, and problem solving is taught and encouraged.
Persons with disabilities are provided settings where they are supported and integrated into the community. Horizon Support Services, Inc. takes a person centered approach where services are provided to assist individuals to overcome cultural, social and economic barriers. Participants are provided the opportunity to live, work and have access or receive services in the community like everyone else.
